Choose ACCOMPANY in AI Studio when you need several instruments around a vocal, melody, or other source.
  1. Focus the source lane, or Master. Select a range for a shorter passage.
  2. Open FOCUS and choose Full Band, Rhythm Section, Cinematic Orchestra, Electronic Production, or Acoustic Ensemble.
  3. Under ACTIVE TRACK CLASSES, add or remove the instrument groups you want.
  4. Describe the backing: “Brushed drums, upright bass and quiet piano behind the vocal,” for example. Open LYRICS if needed.
  5. Select ACCOMPANY and wait for the result. This operation uses Flexible mode.

The completed result appears as a take in the focused lane, stem matrix, or +N vault. Use its play icon to listen, then keep it with the take controls. Online processing uses your session budget. For a single new instrument, use Layer.
