# Settle a listening checkpoint

## JSON body

**paymentIntentId** `string` *required*

Intent returned by playback authorization.

**listenedSeconds** `number`

Cumulative nonnegative listened time in seconds. Required for Credits checkpoints.

**terminal** `boolean`

Credits only: release the remaining playback hold when finished.

## Response

USDC returns `{ success, result }`. Credits returns `{ success: true, result: { billedWei, status: "credited" } }`. Send the same funding and account headers as playback. `/api/stream/{id}/checkpoint` is an alias.
