# Save unfinished edits

**songId** `string` *required*

Song ID.

## JSON body

**synthLanes** `array`

Instrument and Code lane state.

**synthTracks** `array`

Instrument and Code lane state.

**trackEdits** `object`

Edits keyed by track.

**dirtyFlags** `object`

Optional boolean `lanes`, `mixer`, `fx`, `sculpt`.

**originals** `object[]`

Each entry has finite numeric `start` and `end`.

**bpm** `number`

30 to 300.

**sectionGain** `number`

Finite section controls.

**sectionLow** `number`

Finite section controls.

**sectionMid** `number`

## Response

Send the state directly or inside `{ wip: ... }`. Returns `{ success, wip, ttlSeconds }`. The saved state expires after seven days without a refresh. A commit or reset clears it.
