# Follow edit events

## Path and query

**taskId** `string` *required*

Returned task ID, at most 256 characters.

**songId** `string` *required*

Bound song ID.

**userAddress** `string` *required*

Selected account, at least ten characters.

**task** `string` *required*

`repaint`, `lego`, `complete`, `extend`, `cover`, `extract`.

**stemId** `string`

Bound stem when present.

**prompt** `string`

Original edit prompt.

**repaintingStart** `number`

Nonnegative seconds. End must exceed start when both are supplied.

**repaintingEnd** `number`

Nonnegative seconds. End must exceed start when both are supplied.

## Response

Each line uses the [edit status response](https://docs.rawchunks.space/dev/endpoints/editing/status.md). Ignore empty heartbeat objects. Stop on `status: "ready"` or `"error"`. Reconnect with the same job binding.
